It is important to measure the height from the ground to your loading point to select the correct unit. Important: Steps achieve maximum weigh rating when at 90-degrees. Extending steps to achieve lower elevations reduces weight rating!

Is this easy for one small person to use?
These steps are super-light and compact, but don't be fooled! They've been used to load up Mastiffs, Newfies, German Shepherds and all sorts of other big ass dogs!
Will my dog be able to use these steps?
We're sure your dog can use the steps, but let's be honest - anything new will likely take some patience and training! Work with your pup and you (and your back) won't regret it!
Will the steps work from the side using the rear passenger door?
This is very vehicle-to-vehicle specific, but it is unlikely. Most rear passenger doors do not open wide enough to have room for the steps to sit securely on the rear door sill.

These stairs are the best – I’ve seen 186lb Newfies navigate with ease into the back of a Suburban. Strong, solid and yet light enough to easily fold and store away – which is crazy because it takes up about the size of a large briefcase or file holder. Just received my Big Ass Steps. Very impressed with the quality and engineering!
My dog is a 75 lb English Setter. He has always been able to get in and out of my Ford F150 until recently. He’s especially skittish about jumping down . Two weeks ago we had a mishap trying to assist him down and we both hit the pavement. Nothing was broken, but the dog suffered a severely bruised right shoulder. Leg swelled up and Ruger couldn’t walk easily. Several vet visits later he is now recovering nicely.
First training session with the new Big Ass Steps went very well. Ruger loves them.

I have a Cane Corso and a Pitty and they uses these steps with no problem. I got the 5 step because I have a Yukon XL that is 32inches and the 4 step was only 30inch. I love the clip that latches to the back gate latch to keep it secure. It also has anti-slip on each step. The quality and price is better than Amazon products and you’re supporting an independent business
