These steps are super-light and compact, but don't be fooled! They've been used to load up Mastiffs, Newfies, German Shepherds and all sorts of other big ass dogs!
Will my dog be able to use these steps?
We're sure your dog can use the steps, but let's be honest - anything new will likely take some patience and training! Work with your pup and you (and your back) won't regret it!
Will the steps work from the side using the rear passenger door?
This is very vehicle-to-vehicle specific, but it is unlikely. Most rear passenger doors do not open wide enough to have room for the steps to sit securely on the rear door sill.

These stairs are the best – I’ve seen 186lb Newfies navigate with ease into the back of a Suburban. Strong, solid and yet light enough to easily fold and store away – which is crazy because it takes up about the size of a large briefcase or file holder.
