Frozen Blueberry Treats
Summer is here, which means it’s time for frozen treats.
And this month, Apryll found a simple one that’s good enough for your pup and, honestly, good enough for you too.
Frozen Blueberry Treats
Ingredients:
-
3 cups plain Greek yogurt
Apryll likes Stonyfield Farms plain Greek yogurt with probiotics. -
1.5 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
You can also use raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, or a mix. - 3 tablespoons water
Directions:
Add the berries and water to a blender or food processor and mix until well combined.
In a large bowl, add the yogurt and fold in the blended berry mixture.
If you have fun silicone molds, grab those. If not, an ice cube tray works great.
Spoon the mixture into the molds and set in the freezer for several hours.
Once frozen through, grab one for your pup…
And maybe one for yourself.
No judgment here.
Just make sure the yogurt is plain, unsweetened, and does not contain xylitol or other dog-unsafe ingredients.
