Lets keep it extra simple this month with a quick, easy and no bake dog treat recipe.

Three ingredients: Peanut butter (make sure its xylitol free), pumpkin puree and old-fashioned oats

Recipe:

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 3 cups oats

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

Here’s the fun part – shape the cookies into what ever shape you like.  Keep it simple and roll them into bite size balls, use a super fun cookie cutter like a dog bone or fire hydrant or flatten to make squares.

Place the shaped cookies onto a tray (lined with parchment paper) and place in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

You can store the cookies for up to a week in an airtight container in the fridge. For longer storage, you can also store them in an airtight container and freeze them.
