Refreshing and Nutritious Frozen Dog Treats

Prep time: 10 minutes

Freezing time; about 6 hours

Yields: about 12 large treats

Keeps well in the freezer for up to three months in an airtight container / bag

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup bone broth (beef, chicken or vegetable), make your own or buy a good quality (no or low sodium) container at the store.
  • 1.5 cup creamy peanut butter (xylitol free)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley (yahoo for great smelling breath)

Instructions:

  1. Wisk all ingredients in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Fill decorative molds (or just use a good old fashion ice tray) with mixture
  3. Place on a flat surface in the freezer for about 6 hours
  4. Serve! Yummo! These are treats and not meal replacements so don’t overdo it, keep it to 1-3 treats per day.
