Blueberry Banana Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup mashed bananas
  • 2 Cups of blueberries
  • 1.5 Cups of whole oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed banana and applesauce until its pretty mushy.
  3. Add the peanut butter, egg and cinnamon, combine well.
  4. Mix in the oats and gently fold in the blueberries.  Combine well.
  5. On a parchment lined baking sheet, drop spoonful’s of the mixture onto the tray (leaving some space in between for the treats to expand)
  6. Bake for 20 minutes
  7. Let the delicious treats cool completely before sharing.  Cookies will keep for about a week in an air tight container.
